The Rural Municipality of Alexander has a contract with Prairie By-Law Enforcement for the services of by-law enforcement.  They are responsible for enforcing all current and active by-laws of the municipality.

If residents have concerns about possible by-law infractions, please submit a Service Request.

In order to help residents understand the by-law enforcement services provided by the Municipality, the following information may be helpful.

Prairie By-Law Enforcement Ltd (PBLE) is not a 24-hour emergency service. Having an administrative function, they respond to complaints submitted to the office to enforce our Municipal By-Laws. The By-Law Officers do not work 24 hours a day nor do they work every day.

If a by-law infraction arises, a complaint must be submitted via Service Request.  The request is then reviewed and forwarded to the appropriate department to be addressed in accordance with schedules and urgency. 

During non-business hours please call 204-809-3231 and a municipal employee or designate will follow up within 24 hours.
